VALDOSTA, GA. (WTXL)-- A nearly two month long investigation in Lowndes County has resulted in a meth bust.
Officials, Douglas Pearson is booked at the Lowndes County Jail after officers from the Sheriff's Department's special operations division pulled him over Thursday night in Lake Park.
Investigators say they found nearly a pound of methamphetamine and a 40 caliber gun in the car.
Bond for Pearson is being considered in Pearson's case, and he is facing charges for drug trafficking.
