JACKSON COUNTY, FL. (WTXL)-- A man is now behind bars in connection to an assault in Jackson County.
According to authorities, Fredrick Johnston was taken into custody Tuesday when he called the sheriff's department from the home of someone he thought had burglarized him.
Shortly after that, they received another call from a man who said Johnston had threatened to kill him if he did not drive him to a house in Marianna.
The victim agreed and says when they got to the residence, Johnston stabbed the man's tires with a pitchfork.
In addition to the assault charge, Johnston is also facing counts of false imprisonment, felony, and armed burglary.
