VALDOSTA, Ga. -- Wild Adventures has uncovered something prehistoric!
Extinct for millions of years, 15 species of prehistoric dinosaurs are making their way to Valdosta next year. The theme park is getting ready for a new exhibit, "Dinosaur Explore."
It'll features more than 20 life-size dinosaurs. Special effects let them to move and roar just like their ancient ancestors.
Officials say the collection includes Tyrannosaurus Rex, brachiosaurus, triceratops, allosaurus, and a pteranodon. There's also a roaming raptor and interactive T-Rex and a dino dig play area.
Dinosaur Explore will take over a part of the park that's currently not being used.
"We add more fun and new adventures to the park every year, but this is really something special," said general manager Molly Deese in a release. "We’re thrilled to bring our guests something they’ve never experienced at Wild Adventures and give them a new part of the park to explore."
Dinosaur Explore is set to open March 12 and will run throughout the 2016 season.
