Saturday Events in Florida

The highly-anticipated football game FSU vs. Miami kicks off tomorrow at 8 PM. Tickets are sold out but the game will be broadcasted at 8 PM on ABC. Be sure to tune in and watch which Florida team will receive bragging rights.

Looking for some family-friendly comedy to watch? Head on over to Medart Assembly of God's Death by Chocolate event featuring Christian comedian Justin Fennell. Tickets are just $10 and all proceeds will go to the church's Missions funds. The show starts at 7 PM. Stop by and enjoy just about anything and everything chocolate! For tickets call 850-926-7940.

The Home Depot on Capital Circle is hosting a kids workshop from 9 AM to noon. Bring the little kids to help construct a table top ship! Be sure to get your free HD apron, safety goggles and achievement patch. This event is free.

Leon County Greenway on Pedrick Road will be having a hayride wagon tours of the greenway and other family-friendly activities from 10 AM to 2 PM. This is a free event.

Tom Brown Park will have their WT Moore Family Fun Run from 9 AM to 11 AM. Adults will pay $5 while children will pay $2. Come enjoy this 3k run/walk and afterwards browse a health fair  showcase.

Tallahassee's Best Dance Crew competition will take place at the Lincoln Center from 6:30 PM to 8 PM. Come show off your best moves or watch the talent. Tickets are $8 and 1 can good.

The Challenger Learning Center will be opening its doors from 10 AM to 11 AM for the Sky Guy Free Planetarium Show. Come experience the Tallahassee sky and other prominent constellations, stars and planets. Presented by The Astronomical Society. This event is free. Patrons can stay for the regular planetarium show at 11 AM for 1/2 off. The

Sunday Events for Florida

The Forget Me Not walk will take place at St. Pauls Methodist Church from 1:30 PM to 4 PM. Come enjoy this fun event for the Alzheimer's Project.  Celebrate caregivers and those that are cared for!  There will be lots of fellowship, food, entertainment and family fun! Donations are appreciated. All donations will go to the Alzheimer's Project.

Grace Stables is having their Horse Show and Fun day event from 3:30 AM to 6 PM. The entire family can enjoy face painting, hayrides, games, visit Dotty the Donkey and enjoy the horse show at 4 PM. Hotdogs and Hamburgers will be available for purchase.

Mickee Faust Clubhouse on Railroad Square will be having their Punk'n Chuck'N starting at 2 PM. Bring pumpkins out for the annual family friendly punk'n chuck'n  - pumpkin toss.

Events in Georgia

Calvary, Georgia is home to only 200 residents, but this Saturday, the small town will welcome tens of thousands of people for their annual Mule Day. This yearly event was created to celebrate Mules and their contribution to the area's agriculture. Come on out and enjoy a big parade with mules, horses antique tractors, contests 450 different arts and crafts exhibitions, concessions, cane grinding, and syrup making and all day entertainment. The first event on the schedule is the sunrise breakfast at 6 AM. Proceeds from Mule Day will go to Lions Sight programs and local charities. Entry to the event is free.
