LEON COUNTY - We're getting closer to school being back in session, but for many Leon County students reading and math are tough subjects.
That's where the United Way of the Big Bend comes in by enlisting the help of volunteers through it's Readingpals and Mathpals programs.
United Way is encouraging you to become a mentor for the 2017-2018 school year, to work one-on-one with students at local elementary schools.
It only requires one hour a week of your time.
