TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)-- Before indulging in all those Thanksgiving fixings, you can take part in the annual Tallahassee Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving day.
The race is hosted by the Gulf Winds Track Club and starts on 4055 Esplanade Way in Southwood.
The Turkey Gobbler, an enjoyable race for children and walkers, starts at 8 a.m. while the 5k, 10k and 15k begins at 8:30 a.m.
Turkey Trot Heroes are asked to donate $35 either to The Refuge House, The Shelter or the Boys and Girls Club of the Big Bend. The entire donation will go directly to the organization you designate.
