TALLAHASSEE, FL -- October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and the Refuge House along with Perky Pets have a number of events going on.
On Sunday, October 2: Stop The Violence 5K at 3 p.m. at the Southwood Golf Club.
On Monday, October 3: A Golf Tournament at 9 a.m. at the Southwood Golf Club.
On Tuesday, October 18: A Candlelight Vigil at 6 p.m. at the Woman's Club of Tallahassee.
In addition to those events, Perky Pets is hosting a social media campaign where 10% of proceeds will go to the Refuse House.
