TALLAHASSEE, FL - A scholarship banquet is being held Saturday in memory of two lives lost St. Patrick's Day 2012.
Tragically, the two were killed by an impaired driver.
Family members of Kelia and Vincent Vickers have a scholarship in their honor to not only provide a scholarship to a Leon or Gadsden Counties Student, but to raise awareness about the dangers of driving under the influence.
Dianne Daniels and Arlinda Thompson joined WTXL'S Anchor Christine Souders on Wednesday's Sunrise to talk about the banquet.
It's hosted by the Kelia and Vincent Memorial Foundation on April 23rd, 2016 at 6 p.m. located at the Auto Museum on Mahan Drive.
People are encouraged to donate to the foundation and a scholarship will be gievn out to a student at the banquet.
