TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)-- Prom season is quickly approaching and the high-cost of the event can often be an obstacle that prevents many high-school students from participating. But a Tallahassee event Saturday tried to help alleviate some of those costs.
The Junior League of Tallahassee hosted Operation Prom Dress 2015.
It was a one-day boutique styled shopping event providing high school females with free prom dresses, shoes, and accessories. The prom shop was held at Tallahassee Community College's Student Union.
