COLQUITT, GA -- The State Fire Marshal's Office have confirmed that Jimmy Gregory Mason was killed after the blaze broke out around midnight on Monday, May 29.
According to investigators, the 53-year-old's body was found in the back bedroom of the house.
Officials says the fire started because of food that was left cooking unattended.
