TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- A new year and an exciting time for entrepreneurs in the Capital City.
This week kicks off the inaugural Startup Week Tallahassee.
It's five days full of free events, seminars and advice for up-and-coming entrepreneurs, all led by people and businesses who have succeed in the industry.
Those behind Startup Week call this a new type of conference that further cements Tallahassee's status as a hub for startups and creativity.
"Startup Week is a reflection of your hard work and your community's unique entrepreneurial identity. [It] builds momentum and opportunity around entrepreneurship, led by entrepreneurs and hosted in the entrepreneurial spaces you love. Startup Week is a reflection of your hard work and your community's unique entrepreneurial identity," said organizer Lucas Lindsey of Domi Station.
Events begin Monday, January 11 run all week long, concluding with the Startup Week Sendoff Party on Friday night at GrassLands Brewing Company.
