TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)- A handful of young performers in the Capital City took to the stage to show off their classical music skills Sunday afternoon.
The "Kids Go For Baroque" music concert was held on the campus of Florida State University. Kids 18 years and younger auditioned to be a part of the show.
Performances for the evening included string, wind, piano, and vocal ensembles. One organizer said the concert is a good way for students to set goals.
"It's good for students to have goals and things to push for. So they prepare for months and months a piece of music from the Baroque period so that means usually something written between 1600-1760, so a lot of Bach."
