APALACHICOLA, Fla. (WTXL) -- RiverTrek is back for another season.
RiverTrek team members are paddling, cycling and primitive camping to raise funds for Apalachicola Riverkeeper.
The members are also taking part in a friendly competition to see who can raise the most money.
There's also a two-day "ride for the river." Cyclists will leave from Chattahoochee on October 9. Paddlers and cyclists then meet up in the Apalachicola National Forest on Day 4 to camp at Owl Creek.
RiverTrek 2015 launches on Tuesday, October 6 starting at 9 a.m. at the northern end of the Apalachicola River.
There's a welcome back celebration on Saturday, October 10 at Battery Park in Apalachicola.
