TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- Leon County Sheriff's Office have arrested Stanley M. West III,31, on several charges in connection to the murder case of Hoyt Birge.
According to court documents, West was one of the people present at the home on Mission Road when Birge was killed. Reports say West stuck Birge with a hammer and joined in a group that beat and later shot Birge.
West is being charged with the following:
- Homicide-willful kill murder premeditated
- Weapon offense commit 1st degree felony with weapon
- Aggravated battery cause bodily harm or disability
- Kidnap-false imprisonment adult
- Kidnap-false imprisonment adult
West is being held in Leon County Jail without bond.
