Tallahassee, FL - FAMU's Cooperative Extension Program is to facilitating a one-day workshop on "Cultivating Your Future in Agritourism." The program assists farmers and ranchers in the Big Bend on expanding their agricultural enterprise by incorporating tourism.
Jane Eckert, an expert on agritourism, will be the featured speaker. Her workshop talks about the components of an agritourism destination, how to build new enterprises and how to market agritourism.
The workshop is on February 13th from 9 am to 4 pm at the University of Florida/IFAS North Florida Research and Education Center located on 155 Research Road in Quincy.
