MONTICELLO, FL - Jefferson County gearing up for the 66th Annual Watermelon Festival.

Katrina Rickardson and Miss Watermelon Queen herself, Stephanie English visited with WTXL's Christine Souders on Sunrise about the festivities.

There will be a Rodeo this weekend to kick off the two-day festival in downtown Monticello.

Also, wacky watermelon games, including watermelon bowling.

Watermelon Festival is June 17 & 18.
