COCA Connection: New Art Exhibit by Kabuya at the Lemoyne Center

TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL)-- Another COCA Connection, where we highlight arts and culture in the community. This week's edition is taking a closer look at a Miami native, who is passionate about art and the role it plays in the education system.  

Pamela Bowens-Saffo, also known as Kabuya, is the founder and director of C.A.P. C.A.P. stands for Collaborative Art Projects. This program brings awareness to the importance of including art as a learning tool in the S.T.E.M. educational program. 

She also has artwork showcased nationally and internationally. She also has received awards including Artist Fellowships from the National Endowment for Arts and many others. 

Kabuya has new solo exhibit called Tracks and Bridges on display at the Lemoyne Center for Visual Arts starting in the month of February.
