TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - On Thursday, October 16, 2014 the Capital Area Healthy Start Coalition will host the 2014 "Walk to Remember" at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 1700 N. Meridian Road, Tallahassee, FL 32303. It's part of National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day.
The free memorial event is for parents/families experiencing the loss of a pregnancy or infant. Organizers say it will be an evening of comfort, wisdom and hope.
The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a reception including food and drinks in Sanders Hall. The memorial service will take place in the church sanctuary at 6:30 p.m. That will be followed by a candle-lit walk around Lake Ella at 7:30 p.m. The event will also include activities for children, information tables and bereavement counselors.
