TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) — Big Bend Hospice is asking the community to help out by becoming "comfort call" volunteers.
The duties include making weekly calls to patients and/or caregivers.
Using a script, volunteers ensure quality care is being given.
Comfort call volunteers also identify any immediate needs between hospice team member visits.
