TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Alzheimer's Project, Inc. is preparing to host an event to benefit Alzheimer's Disease research.
The second annual Purple Craze event will provide an over-the-top extravaganza for a good cause. The event will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, January 31 at the Tallahassee Automobile Museum.
The event will feature a purple-themed costume contest, music and dancing, and much more. The event will also auction off a unique piece of memorabilia commemorating the Florida State University football team's national championship. The item is signed by star quarterback Jameis Winston, and proceeds will benefit Alzheimer's research in the region.
A buffet with food from bakeries and other local vendors will also be available. Tickets for the event are $35 in advance, or $40 at the door.
