Tallahassee, FL - The Big Bend Minority Chamber of Commerce is kicking off a new council to push construction in the area.
The new Construction and Trades Council, will work to unite chamber members with corporations in the Big Bend to spur partnerships and create new opportunities.
"It's important for our chamber members to have access and opportunity to those projects that are coming to the area", said Windell Paige, the President and CEO of the Chamber.
"This new council will fill a need and help to increase jobs in the area."
The council will launch with a kickoff reception next week on the 19th Hole at Hillman Golf Club on Blairstone Road.
