SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — South Korean media say the top U.S. envoy for North Korea has returned to South Korea after a three-day visit to Pyongyang.

Stephen Biegun, the U.S. special representative for North Korea, flew to the North Korean capital of Pyongyang on Wednesday to work out details of a second summit between President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Trump has said the summit will take place in Vietnam on Feb. 27-28.

South Korea's Yonhap news agency says a plane carrying Biegun landed at a U.S. air base near the South Korean capital of Seoul Friday. South Korea's government couldn't immediately confirm the report.

Biegun is expected to brief South Korean officials about his visit to the North over the weekend.
