PARKLAND, Fla. (AP) - A South Florida woman is accused of stabbing her former lover while another man beat him up.

WPLG-TV (http://bit.ly/2ecEOlI ) reports 30-year-old Christine Hess was arrested Wednesday on charges of attempted murder, armed burglary and armed robbery.

According to an arrest affidavit, 67-year-old Lee Summers told detectives that Hess came to his apartment on Sept. 22. He says he'd known Hess for months and had been intimate with her.

Officials say Summers was punched in the face by a man when he opened the door. The report says Hess grabbed a knife and stabbed Summers repeatedly.

Authorities say the suspects fled with Summers' cellphone.

Summers was taken to the hospital with stab wounds to his back and leg, among several other injuries.

Authorities haven't publicly identified the other suspect.
