Investigators ID Man Killed in South Florida Boat Crash

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Authorities have identified the body of a man killed in a boat crash on the Intracoastal Waterway in Pompano Beach.

Florida fish and wildlife investigators say 50-year-old William Alfred Ineson Jr. was ejected from a boat that collided with another vessel on Saturday night. His body was recovered on Sunday.

The crash happened just south of the Atlantic Boulevard Bridge in Pompano Beach.

Officials say on vessel had five people on board. Ineson was one of two people on the other boat. Two people on the other boat were also ejected into the water. Both were recovered immediately.

Investigators say three people were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
