VALDOSTA, Ga. -- Valdosta police are investigating a drive-by that happened under the overpass on Martin Luther King Drive -- in broad daylight. This is just one of three shootings that took place in Valdosta on Tuesday, July 30.

The victim told police at about 4:30 p.m., he was in his vehicle when a man pulled up next to him in a dark colored truck and began shooting at him. The victim said that the driver's side of his vehicle was riddled with bullets, but he wasn't struck by any gunfire. The victim said that he and the suspect both drove away immediately after the incident

Police say that they are withholding the victim's name because the suspect is still at large, and may still be a threat to his safety.

Valdosta police are investigating, and the Valdosta-Lowndes Regional Crime Laboratory are analyzing bullets recovered from the scene.
