TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A shooting in the Capital City claims the lives of two people overnight.

The Tallahassee Police Department is now identifying the victims: a 17-year-old girl, Nakenya Richardson, and Shomari Fuller, a 26-year-old man.

Officers were called to the Tyson Green Condominiums on Tyson Green Way just before 11 p.m. Saturday when a neighbor heard gunshots. Police say when emergency crews arrived on the scene, they tried to provide lifesaving medical care to Richardson and Fuller but were unsuccessful.

WTXL reached out to the Tallahassee Police Department to find out how the victims knew each other and if they were residents of the condo complex, but we have not yet gotten a response.

Police are still looking for suspects at this time. If you have any information about this shooting, contact the Tallahassee Police Department at at (850) 891-4200 or CrimeStoppers at (850) 574-TIPS.
