GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WTXL) - Three men were arrested for attempted homicide in connection to a shooting following white nationalist Richard Spencer's speech at UF Thursday.

Colton Fears, William Fears, and Tyler Tenbrink were all arrested on Thursday. All three of the men are from Texas.

According to an arrest report, Tenbrink shot at a victim after getting to a fight.

The report says that the victim was sitting at a bus stop immediately following Spencer's speaking event when Tenbrink and the Fears brothers pulled up to the victim in their car and started yelling "Heil Hitler" and other chants at the victim.

Things escalated as the victim used a baton to hit the car. The report says the car drove a few feet away before stopping. That's when Tenbrink got out the car with a handgun.

Police write the Fears brothers were yelling "kill them" and "shoot them", before Tenbrink fired a single shot at the victim.

Thankfully the bullet missed, hitting a business directly behind the victim. The victim told officers that the men then jumped back in their car and drove away.

The Alachua County Sheriff's Office later found the men traveling north on I-75, about 20 miles north of Gainesville and arrested them.
