Suspect in Wednesday Shooting Arrested; Victim Expected to Recover

TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Police have released more details about Wednesday night's shooting.

In a press release from the Tallahassee Police Department, at approximately 8 p.m. off-duty officers heard gun shots being fired in the area of Joe Louis Street.

Officers found the location of the shots and located Calvin King who was suffering from non-life threatening injuries. Police say King is expected to make a full recovery.

Another group of officers found the shooting suspect, Eldred Frazier, while working their “Operation Safe Neighborhoods” detail.

Officers tased Frazier and took him into custody where he was booked in the Leon County Jail after being evaluated at the hospital.
