TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)-- Police have identified the man who was found dead after a shooting in Tallahassee.
Tallahassee police say the call came in at 6:50 a.m. Monday about a shooting on the 1600 block of Rankin Avenue. When they arrived, they found a victim they have now identified as 48-year-old George Bass.
The department's violent crimes and forensic units are processing evidence and interviewing witnesses. They are asking anyone with information to call them at (850) 891-4200 or crime stoppers at (850) 574-TIPS.
