TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A local group continued their service in the community by giving a helping hand to those in need on Saturday.

At Watson Temple, the Omega Lamplighters helped package and carry food to people's cars as a part of Farm Share's community service.

The group says they try to do good deeds like this, year-round.

"We have been doing the feed the homeless initiative every third Saturday for two and a half years, so every third Saturday we are there," said Royle King, Executive Director of Omega Lamplighters. "We just added this as another site and will probably do it for ever and ever and just continue to add stuff."

The Omega Lamplighters recently had a viral video of the group introducing the Junior Lamplighters.

The video has been watched more than 80,000 times.
