MADISON CO., Fla. (WTXL) - A former Madison County school employee has turned herself in on charges that she had sex with students.
According to Madison County Sheriff Ben Stewart, in early May 2015, the Sheriff's Office along with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) began an investigation into allegations involving inappropriate sexual relations between students and Cortni Sprenkle Brown, 29, while she was an employee of Madison County High School.
Investigators obtained arrest warrants for Brown.
According to the sheriff's office, Brown was contacted and turned herself in to the Madison County Jail on June 29, 2015. She is charged with 2 counts of lewd battery on a child and three counts of sexual activity with minors.
Brown no longer works at Madison County High School.
