TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Local musicians are putting on the Franklin County Relief Concert to help those families get back on their feet.

It's happening at The Junction at Monroe in Tallahassee.

Admission is $15 but you're encouraged to give what you can. That money will go to the Franklin County Emergency Operation Center to help families get necessities like food and shelter.

One of Friday night's performers says music has a way of bringing people together, so why not for a good cause.

He says, he's happy to use his talent and love for music to help these families get back on track.

"Virtually everything they have is gone and so we're gonna come to together and just show out support for them and help them a little bit," said Franklin County Relief Concert Musician Bill "Sauce Boss" Wharton. "It's a drop in the bucket."

Wharton is just one of many musicians taking part in Friday's benefit concert.

The show starts at 8 p.m. at The Junction at Monroe.
