BRADENTON, Fla. -- A two year old boy is dead as a result of drowning in his family's pool Friday afternoon.
The Manatee County Sheriff's Office says the child's mother Luci Gutierrez and uncle Chris Morgan were home with four children on Friday.
Guiterrez was in the living room with the children then took two of the children into another room. When she returned, 2-year-old Jayden Morgan-Gutierrez was no longer in the room. She found Jayden in the pool.
The toddler was removed from the pool and was unresponsive. EMS took him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The incident is under investigation.
