FRANKLIN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - Deputies of the Franklin County Sheriff's Office arrested two women on drug possession charges during a traffic stop on Monday, November 13.

The deputies stopped the car for a broken tail light, then discovered the tag attached to the vehicle was not the plate assigned.

Reports say both Holly Mckeithen and Tina Davis consented to a purse search. The search revealed Mckeithen was in possession of methamphetamine wrapped in clear plastic cellophane.

Davis was also in possession of methamphetamine. Both women were placed under arrest at that time and charged with possession of methamphetamine.

Mckeithen was also charged with possession of paraphernalia. Davis is currently out on pre-trial release out of Jackson County, Florida for possession of meth, possession of paraphernalia and possession of controlled substance without a prescription.
