There is no tropical activity in the Gulf of Mexico. Looking out into the Central Atlantic, Subtropical Storm Melissa, could strengthen into a tropical storm later today. Then as the system continues to move northeast and track over some colder water, it will start to break down and weaken within the next 24-36 hours. This storm will have no affect on us or the United States.
