(WTXL/NWS) -- Another potent winter storm is tracking to the northeast. Blizzard warnings are up for coastal sections from Maine all the way down to Connecticut. The storm system's wind field is potent, prompting offshore Hurricane Force Wind Warnings for offshore waters all across the northeast.
Wind Chill Warnings are also in effect for interior sections of the northeast as week as well, with wind chill readings as low as -15 to -35 degrees up in interior New York.
The winter weather possibilities extend as far south as North Georgia with Winter Storm Watches in effect through Tuesday evening. The National Weather Service is forecasting two to six inches of snow and sleet in North Georgia. Those watches extend west into Oklahoma.
