MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- Tropical Storm Otto continues to slowly push to the west/northwest at around 5 mph. This slow movement will prevent the storm from making landfall around Costa Rica and Nicaragua today, making tomorrow the likely day when landfall occurs. Maximum sustained winds are at 70 mph as of the latest advisory from the National Hurricane Center.
No other tropical threat exists at this time.
