TALLAHASSEE (WTXL) - Ida currently has sustained winds at 40 mph and is moving very slowly south at 2 mph. Ida's intensity isn't expected to change much over the next few days. Three days out the wind shear is expected to weaken which could allow Ida to strengthen a bit. It is difficult to locate the center due to it drifting towards the south.
