MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- An organizing area of low pressure near the eastern Bahamas has an 80% chance of developing into a subtropical or tropical storm within the next five days. This system is not expected to be a landfall threat to the U.S. It will be carried away by a cold front that will effectively shield the country from another tropical hit.
No other tropical threat exists at this time.
