MIDWAY, Fl. (WTXL) -- As of the 5:00am advisory, Debby has transitioned into a tropical storm with maximum sustained winds of 45 mph.
As of 5:00am, Debby was located about 1175 miles WNW of the Azores. The storm is still no threat to land, and it is expected to no longer be tropical by Friday.
No other tropical cyclone exists in the Atlantic and no tropical cyclone is expected to develop in the next five days.
