TALLAHASSEE (WTXL)- There are 2 active storms to keep an eye on in the tropics. Tropical storm Odile is continuing to move northeast towards the southwestern United States. It continues to drop large amounts of rain in Arizona and New Mexico as it weakens. Odile is the cause of flash flood warnings in the southern counties of Arizona and flash flood watches for its northern counties as well as parts of California, Nevada, and New Mexico. Hurricane Edouard still bares no threat to land as it tracks northeast towards the north Atlantic where it is expected to weaken from its current Category 1 status.
