Overall, the tropical Atlantic basin remains quiet for the next few days. A few waves of disturbed weather in the southern portions of the north Atlantic will have to fight considerably dry air to the north, and swift upper-level winds in the Caribbean, so the long-range prospect of any of these disturbances do not favor significant development through the remainder of the week.
One disturbance entering the eastern Caribbean may carry its moisture toward the southern Gulf by early next week, but again, the chances of further development are limited.
