TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) -- After a busy few weeks in the tropics, things seem to have quieted a bit, though there are a few areas of interest.
The first is sitting about 100 miles east of the Windward Islands. This tropical wave only has a 10% chance of formation in the next five days as the environmental conditions are becoming less favorable for development.
An area of low pressure is expected to form later this weekend between Bermuda and the Azores. Once this area has formed, environmental conditions will be favorable. At this time, there is a 20% chance of formation in the next five days.
