MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- There are no major concerns for tropical development across the Atlantic basin in the next few days to come. A disturbance lingering north of Puerto Rico will eventually encounter faster upper-level winds and end any chances to become a subtropical or tropical system.
The remnants of a Pacific tropical system will cross Mexico and move into the western Gulf. Redevelopment of the system is unlikely, but the leftover low-pressure center may create additional clouds and showers for the central Gulf and the Florida Peninsula later in the weekend.
