MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- General inactivity is still expected through the rest of this week across the tropical Atlantic basin, including the Gulf of Mexico. The tropics continue to be heavily influenced by a lack of moisture and a belt of swift upper-level winds, which are disruptive features in the tropical cyclone development process.
