MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- Tropical Storm Bertha has been racing to the northeast in the far north Atlantic. In the colder environment, the storm has transitioned out of its tropical phase and is no longer being monitored for impacts in the United States.
A few waves of moisture exist in the southern latitudes of the north Atlantic, but none show immediate signs of development in the next few days ahead. Even if strengthening is detected, these disturbances are over 2,000 miles from the U. S. mainland.
