Tropical Storm Chantal is no longer a tropical storm...it has been downgraded to a tropical wave because there is no longer a center of circulation. All watches and warnings have been lifted.
This system still has heavy rain and some gusty winds associated with it...especially on the eastern side.
Tonight the remnants will spread over eastern Cuba and Jamaica. By Friday the remnants will be over the NW Bahamas and Florida Peninsula.
The biggest threat with these remnants will be localized flooding and heavy rain.
Right now it doesn't look as if the storm will redevelop, but stay with ABC 27 for future updates on this system.
