MIDWAY, Fla. (WTXL) -- Aside from Tropical Storm Cindy approaching the northwestern coastline along the Gulf of Mexico, the remnants of what as Tropical Storm Bret in the southernmost Caribbean Sea is being impacted by strong upper-level winds exceeding 40 knots, which will prevent the remnants from redeveloping into a tropical system again, as long as those stronger upper winds stay in place.
A few waves of disturbed weather in the southern latitudes of the North Atlantic aren't showing impressive signs of development potential.
No other tropical systems are expected to form in the next few days ahead.
