Tropical activity is quite settled compared to earlier in the month. A few patchy areas of moisture exist in the northeast Gulf associated with a stationary front ... in the far southern Caribbean Sea near Panama ... several hundred miles east of the Lesser Antilles ... and just off the west African coast. Neither of these disturbances are showing immediate signs of intensification or organization over the next few days.
