Tropical activity remains unremarkable, with the only disturbances of note being the leftovers of Tropical Storm Karen off the Outer Banks of North Carolina, mainly now a broader mid-atmosphere low attached to a cold front with little to no chance for redevelopment.
The disturbance in the eastern Atlantic has shown some vigor, but is also being impacted by nearby dry air. A swirl of air from an upper low will help slow down or inhibit any extra development efforts in the near-term future. Regardless of how it evolves, it will stay in open ocean waters away from the United States or any other major land areas.
